Now, add blogging. Remote blogging, that is.
This week, I'm reading Nick Tasler's intriguing book The Impulse Factor. This book explains two distinct decision-making styles. People, about 75% of them, are risk-managers, and the other 1/4 of the population are potential seekers.
I am one of the impulsive 25%. It has gotten me into trouble because potential seekers take risks. And they decide with a decided haste.
The good news for both types of decision maker is that The Impulse Factor shows how we can make the best decisions once we know the facts, and you can take the Impulse Factor assessment online to hone in on precisely which style of decision maker you are.
Oh, and neither risk-managers nor potential seekers are "better" per se. It's all about knowing yourself and your style so you optimize those good decisions.
Oh, here's my stop... Eric Matas
